I was not impressed by Giovanni's, but I wanted to compare Geste's. We ordered a bowl of the Hawaiian Scampi to get a sample test. We are not the biggest fans of shrimp, but Geste was SO good! It was so garlicky and flavorful. It was way better than I thought. I only wished the shrimp were peeled, but the flavor probably wouldn't be as intense. Definitely recommend!!

Still good after 4 years!!! Geste shrimp truck is still my fav shrimp truck in Hawaii. It's super delicious and flavorful. My go to is the Hawaiian scampi or the spicy pineapple. The location was super convenient. Located across from Costco gas station. Perfect first and last meal. I literally have gone here twice each time!! Cash only!!!!!

My favorite shrimp truck on Maui. Located in the food truck lot across Costco. I got the Hawaiian shrimp which is pretty much just garlic shrimp. So YUMMY! Easy to peel, not too salty, and just so tasty. The wait can get long, so just plan for some extra wait time because it's made fresh & it's a popular go to. Any time I'm in Maui, it's a MUST stop at. There are some tables to sit at under a shaded tent, but also very convenient to just take out.

CASH only. They cook to order so it takes some time - stay patient. Good food takes time. Our stop before heading to the airport - granted probably smelled too good on the plane but I did not regret it at all. It was one of the best meals I had "while in Maui", and such a great way to end the trip with this meal. The Hawaiian Scampi (garlic butter) and pineapple (spicy) shrimp were both delicious. Saucy in both styles. The bowl is great for 1 person with a reasonable appetite. Definitely coming back when in Maui!

One of my favorite meals during our Maui trip! We came here right around opening and we waited just 10 minutes for a plate of amazing shrimp and crab Mac salad. We got the platter which came with 12 shrimp, rice and crab Mac salad. We added a side order of hot dog, which is a must, bc the hot dog here is hella good. We tried the hot n spicy flavor (no mix and matching) and it wasn't spicy but had good flavor. The crab Mac salad was easily the best Mac salad we had on the island. While it was one of my favorite meals during the trip, it was also one of the more affordable meals. For everything we spent less than $24. Worth every dime and a stop. It's right across the street from Costco and just minutes from the airport.

Excellent spicy pineapple shrimp. Delicious crab mac salad. They have five flavours to choose from: Hawaiian Scampi, Spicy Pineapple, Regular Pineapple, Hot & Spicy, and Lemon Pepper. We paid $18 for the Shrimp plate which included 12 pieces of shell-on de-veined shrimp on a bed of raw cabbage, 2 scoops of rice, and a scoop of crab mac salad. Make sure you save some of that rice to soak up the butter under the shrimp. We got this plate to share so we could save stomach space for other food but it was pretty filling with the amount of rice they give you. I would say this is pretty reasonable pricing for Maui. Came here on a Thursday afternoon and there were a few people ahead of us but we only had to wait a few minutes for our order. There is ample seating covered seating on very sturdy picnic benches with free-roaming chickens running around you as you eat. It does get a little windy here so hold on to your napkins and hats. Love the cleaning spray and paper towels they provide so that you can clean your spot before/after you eat. This shrimp truck is Cash Only so make sure you have some with you!

After landing at the airport, we made a quick stop at Costco to stock up on some food and drinks for our stay in Maui. We were so hungry and found this place right next to Costco. I ordered their Hawaiian scampi shrimp plate, which comes with rice, mac salad and 12 pieces of shrimp. The shrimp does come with the shell on it, which I prefer - that's where the flavors are at! The food is made to order, so I browsed the other trucks while waiting for my food. Once my food was ready, I immediately sat down to indulge. This. Was. Amazing. It had so much flavor and it reminded me of something I've had in my childhood. You can definitely share one plate with someone since it's a lot. I enjoyed it so much that I came back a few days later to show my sister! One thing to note is that this place is cash only!

Amazing, simply amazing food. The food truck is located in an area with a bunch of other food trucks. First off, it's cash only but the prices are very reasonable especially being in Hawaii. Ended up getting these. Combo Plate - Honestly enjoyed the hotdogs as well. Shrimp is perfectly cooked and season. I got this one with the Hawaiian Scampi which is almost like butter and garlic. Bomb. (5/5) Shrimp Plate - Same as the combo but no Mac salad and hotdog. Got this with Spicy Pineapple and would recommend. This flavors rocks. (5/5) Would recommend this spot for the taste and price. Service was a bit slow but the food definitely made up for it!

I stop here whenever I'm in Maui-convenient location since it's right near Costco. Quick, friendly service and reasonable prices. The shrimp bowl makes for a perfect lunch-filling with rich buttery flavor and the shrimp are cooked well and easy to peel. Got the plate last time with 12 shrimp and was stuffed, 8 shrimp in the bowl is plenty for one. Lots of other food truck options next to Geste's, or you can walk down the road to the other food truck area too.
